A Walk in the New Forest on
Wednesday 7 th. August
at 10 AM.
Please meet in FRITHAM CAR PARK.
Directions : From the Cadnam Roundabout take
the
B3079, down through Brook, fork left just
after
The Green Dragon Pub ( Signposted Fordingbridge
).
About 1.5 miles on turn left at the
crossroads
( signposted OCKNELL ). About 0.75 miles on
fork
right ( signposted FRITHAM ). After 0.75 miles,
past
The Royal Oak Pub, ( Ignore the tarmac road to
the
left immediately after the Pub ), 80 yds. on,
turn
left into the car park.
A bit muddy still in places.
Length of the walk : 3 miles approximate time 2 hrs
15 mins.
Walking in woodland and open heath.
Members are respectfully reminded that the walks
require
a degree of fitness relative to the terrain and
distance.
