August walk at Fritham
Ideal not too hot and at times a gentle cool breeze. Twenty-six and two dogs enjoyed it. We saw herd of deer but my camera was blinded by the sun and I ended up taking a picture of the heather. Dave was lucky though (skilled) and captured the scene which included a rare black deer. Nice gradient to climb through the woods just about our capability.
Here are some photos taken on our walk today, perfect conditions for spotting and photographing these lovely creatures. A Gate Keeper Meadow Brown Moth? Ringlet Speckled Wood Large Skipper I thought my fellow walkers would like to see the results of my darting about amongst the fern !!! Sandra Higginson.
